Hatha Yoga is probably the most well known type of yoga, offering a balance between physical and mental well-being. It focuses on body postures and has great preventive and therapeutic efficacy.
In practice, āsanas or postures, prānāyāma or breathing, relaxation and meditation are combined. Some of the physical benefits of Hatha Yoga are greater elasticity, muscle tone, balance, endurance and vitality. It takes into account the necessary balance between each of the āsanas in order to maintain your body in a state of perfect physical and mental health.
A conscious and meditative practice of Hatha Yoga enables us to apply it to our daily lives.
